Revati Range has over 13 Lakh surviving trees

Indore: The Asia Book of Records has officially certified that Revati Range at present has 13.10 lakh surviving trees after a verification process conducted by a 100-member team evaluated survival rates of saplings planted during drives since 2024.

The afforestation initiative began in 2024, when citizens planted over 12.4 lakh saplings at Revati Range. An additional 1 lakh saplings were planted in 2025. On Sunday, a fresh drive added 51,000 saplings toward this year’s target of 1 lakh plants.

Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya highlighted that tree plantation efforts would continue every Sunday to support the broader goal of planting 21 lakh trees. The initiative reflects Indore's growing focus on environmental conservation, green development and large-scale urban afforestation.
