When your builder makes you see various houses or Properties the first thing you need to ask is why to invest in this property and what makes it special and suitable for you. This will help you to know about various facilities, the quality of the house, the amenities, about the area, and all the necessary information about the property.

2- What are the super build-up and carpet areas of this house?

The carpet area is the actual space that you get to live in the house. It is very important to ask about these things to remove your confusion and any kind of ambiguity. The super built-up area includes all the personal space including lawn, parking area, elevators, etc. The builder might confuse you with these terms. It is very important to be clear about them.

3- When will the house be completed?

If you are thinking of buying an under-construction property then make sure to ask about the tentative date of completion of the project. In case the project isn't completed on the informed date then the liability will be on the builder. All this information must be mentioned in your contract as well.

If you are ready to move into a flat then make sure to ask about the shifting date.

4- Could you share all the documents beforehand?

Make sure to ask about the documents of your property. Buying a house requires a lot of paperwork to be done. Ask for all the documents beforehand including a blueprint of your house, registry, floor plan, certificates, etc from your builder. This will enable you to investigate all the details and complete the missing details if any.
